Para powerlifters state expectations from new Nigeria Paralympic committee

Silver medal winning para powerlifter at the 2018 Commonwealth games in Gold coast Australia Paul Kehinde has called on the newly inaugurated board of the Nigeria Paralympic committee to give due recognition to para-athletes and ensure they are well treated especially in the area of the reward system and their welfare package.

First vice-president of the newly inaugurated Nigeria Paralympic committee DCP Anderson Bankole has revealed plans to help develop Nigeria’s Para sports sphere of dominance beyond two sports so as to increase Nigeria’s medal chances in international para-sports competitions.
Bankole speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said Nigeria’s para-athletes have been a source of major medal hopefuls for Nigeria, hence the need to expand Nigeria’s medal capabilities by ensuring that other para-sports Federations witness remarkable growth.
