Samuel Kalu is facing a race against time to join the Super Eagles before their scheduled departure on Thursday as he continues to wait on the South African Embassy for his visa application.
According to Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye Kalu is held up over visa issuance delays and the Coaches are aware, hence the player has not reported to the team’s Asaba camp.
Gernot Rohr is expected to lead the team in a closed-door training session Today. They will fly out to South Africa tomorrow; 5pm, from Benin City.
The Eagles are expected to train on Friday at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg by match kick-off time, 2pm Nigerian time.
