The technical adviser for Dakada FC Caleb Esu has noted that though his club side will continue to maintain their primary objective which is to avoid relegation as opposed to the growing rumors that they will be gunning for top 4 continental spot seeing that they are only six points behind log leaders, Lobi stars.
Caleb while in an interview with Brila.net praised his team’s resilience so far, especially their stalemate fixture with Plateau United over the weekend.
“The game against plateau united on Sunday was a tough one but we are happy we stopped them from coming to get an away win…”
He also stated that although a top four finish will be a good representation this season, the primary target remains a secured position in the top flight league.
“As for making the top four and getting a continental spot we would have to do our very best even though that was not our target when the season started”
“Our primary and most important target is to make sure we stay afloat and avoid relegation… we must not get ahead of ourselves but take it one game at a time”.
