Super Falcons midfielder, Halimotu Ayinde is delighted with the team’s progress in the FIFA World Cup.

Despite qualifying for the Round of 16 as Group B runners up, Ayinde insists that the best of the Super Falcons is yet to come.

 

 

The 28 year-old was in action as Super Falcons picked the needed point against the Republic of Ireland to book their place in the knock out phase.

“God did it, we did it! We are through to the Round of 16! Very proud of this team. Surely, our best is yet to come,” She wrote on her social media handle.

The Falcons qualified as Group B runners up, and will now face England for a place in the quarter-finals.
