The Napoli fans are so in love with the striker that they are lining up to buy Osimhen’s shirt and replicas of his protective mask.

The 24 year-old has been wearing the protective mask for more than a year following a cheekbone injury suffered against Inter in November 2021.

Fans are gathering outside the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium every match day to get their Osimhen merch, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nigerian is on the verge of leading Napoli to its first Serie A title in 33 years. He has scored 17 goals in 18 matches, including eight in the last six appearances.

He netted one in Sunday’s 3-0 win against Cremonese to extend his lead on Serie A scorers chat.

The pink describes Osimhen as the ‘king of Naples’ with the Partenopei enjoying a 15-point lead over second-placed Inter Milan, who drew against Sampdoria at Marassi on Monday.
