Former Nigeria international Godwin Okpara has stated that the omission of Victor Osihmen from the newly released list of players for the national team of Nigeria ahead of the two international friendlies against Mexico and Ecuador should have been clarified by the Nigeria Football Federation to save the questions and clear the air on the absence of the Napoli striker.
Okpara speaking in a chat with brila.net said for now the national team does not have a coach in charge who will operate on his terms even with regards to national team selection, hence the need to have the Nigeria Football Federation clarify the issues around national team call ups for the upcoming friendlies and by extension the AFCON qualifiers
