Napoli Boss Luciano Spalleti says he’s satisfied with the performance of Victor Osimhen and his teammates in the pre season.
Osimhen became the master at the Allianz Arena when he netted two of Napoli’s three goals against the Bavarians on Saturday.
The former Lille attacker got brace in 2 minutes as Napoli secured their first success in the first international test in the Audi Football Summit in Teutonic land.
Osimhen who put Napoli in in front in the 69 minute, before adding the second in the 71st minute to take his pre season tally to seven.
Speaking at the press conference, Spalleti said he’s satisfied with his players.
“I am satisfied with the performance, the path taken is the right one”.
“Today, it was essential to put minutes in the legs. We had to give the idea of an orderly team and we succeeded. An order through which we managed to score and this gives us awareness and serenity.”
“Yes, of course, there is still a lot of work to be done but the path is the correct one. Everyone went beyond my expectations.“
“The boys have to be given credit for having adapted, given the conditions we are in. The group has proven to have qualities on which to focus “ he said.
Next for Napoli on Thursday 4 August is a trip to Poland where they will take on Wisla Krakow.
