Victor Osimhen says he is not worried over his recent drought in front of goal.
Osimhen started the campaign on fire,
netting three times in his first two games for Napoli.
He netted a brace against Frosinone, and another strike against Sassuolo in the following week.
However, he fired blank in the shocking home defeat to Lazio, and further failed to find the back of the net blank in the 2-1 UEFA Champions League win against SC Braga at the Estadio Municipal de Braga on Wednesday.
“It’s strange to end a game without scoring. I’m a striker, and strikers live for goals, but it’s not something that bothers me much because it’s already happened, and I’m prepared for it,” Osimhen said in a recent interview.
With Napoli set to take on Bologna this weekend, Osimhen will be aiming to bring an end to the drought.
