Italian Champions Napoli have confirmed the appointment of Rudi Garcia as a successor to Luciano Spalletti.
The Partenopei made the announcement on Wednesday, weeks after Luciano Spalletti stepped down from the role.
Spalletti led Napoli to their first league title in 32 years, with Nigerian international Victor Osimhen arrow head of the team.
Osimhen scored 31 across competition last season under Spalletti, 26 of them coming in the domestic league.
Garcia is expected to help Napoli retain the title they won last season, and mostly help Osimhen to improve on his impressive seasons.
Garcia’s last job ended acrimoniously as he was fired by Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, following a disappointing performances in the league.
Reports also suggested the French man fell out with his star striker Cristiano Ronaldo before being shown the exit door.
