Victor Osimhen got his Ligue Un career at Lille OSC off to a flier, better than Osaze Odemwingie and even better than Eden Hazard as he netted a brace on his debut.
Osimhen, who had joined just a week ago from Mouscron, scored the opener for Lille and secured three points for the team with a powerful finish in the 81st minute – the score tied at 1-1.

It is a dream debut for the young Nigerian, who didn’t get enough chance in Egypt with the Super Eagles during the Africa Cup of Nations.

His first league game with the three times Ligue Un champions is a better start than any of Odemwingie or Hazard, who went to become Legends at the club, managed.
The Lille new number 7 will be hoping to score more and perhaps help the club go one further from last season’s runners up position.
