Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen returned to training for the first time after three weeks.
The 22-year-old striker sustained a facial injury in Napoli’s defeat against Inter Milan at San Siro on November 21.
He was expected to be out of action for three months, after undergoing a successful surgery.
However the has return to training earlier ahead of schedule, but not without a special mask.
Osimhen took to Instagram page on Wednesday, to share photo of himself training alone.
Meanwhile, no date has been given for his return to the squad, and Napoli Doctor Gianpaolo Tartaro confirmed they are trying to find a perfect solution.
“We have to now loot at a s special mask for his case. It’s not something banner, there is a nerve there. It is all difficult, but we will see in the next few weeks.” He said.
Osimhen has been a revelation for Napoli since arriving at Lille in 2020, scoring 19 goals in 44 games.
