Napoli’s Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen dedicated Napoli’s victory over Bologna at the weekend to manager Luciano Spalletti.
The Partenopei survived a scare to notch a 10th consecutive victory in all competitions after beating Bologna 3-2.
Juan Jesus, Hirving Lozano and Osimhen were all on target for Napoli, while Joshua Zirkzee and Musa Barrow netted for Bologna.
“This is what we call team spirit. We started well, Bologna are a good team, but we needed these points,” Osimhen told DAZN after the game.
“Big kudos to the coach for the second half talk, he gave us the zeal to go out for this game. I am happy for this victory.”
The victory means Napoli remain at the top of Serie A, with 26 points from a possible 30.
