Three Nigerian stars were involved when Udinese hosted Napoli in a Serie A clash on Monday.

Victor Osimhen represented Napoli, while Maduka Okoye and Isaac Success featured for Udinese.

The match saw an intense battle with both Osimhen and Success finding the back of the net.

Osimhen, with his 15th league goal in 23 appearances, broke the deadlock with a powerful header in the first half.

Udinese were lucky not to fall further behind in the second half, thanks to the impressive efforts of Maduka Okoye, who denied his International teammate on two occasions.

With Udinese pressing for a crucial point, Isaac Success was subbed on and made an immediate impact, scoring the equalizer in the 92nd minute with a well-placed finish, marking his first goal since April 2023.

The shared points leaves Napoli winless in their last four games (three draws, one loss) and Udinese with three defeats and two draws in their last five outings.

Napoli now sits in eighth place with 51 points, while Udinese remains in 18th place with 30 points, just two points away from the safety zone.
