Former Italy and Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri, has faulted Luciano Spalletti’s decision to build Napoli’s attack around Victor Osimhen.

Vieri who also played Juventus opined that Osimhen needs help from other players around him.

Osimhen scored one and set up another goal for Dries Mertens, but wasn’t enough to earn them a point at home against Fiorentina on Sunday.

The defeat is Napoli’s fifth at home this season and commenting on the game, Vieri said, Napoli relies so much on Osimhen to do it all by himself.

“Napoli, did too little against Fiorentina, relying solely on Osimhen’s plays. I would rather have made Mertens and Osimhen play together from the start.

“He is a great striker, but he needs help, no matter the form,” He told Bobo TV.
