Lille Sporting Director Luis Campos has admitted the possibility of Victor Osimhen leaving the Club following his brilliant start to his career in France.
Osimhen was voted Lille’s and French Ligue 1 best player for the month of September, after scoring two goals and providing two others last month.
The player has scored eight goals in all competitions since joining the Club from Belgian side Sporting Charleroi back in the summer and he has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
Speaking to RMC Sport, Campos said : ”When you are a club like Lille, it is difficult to keep hold of a striker who scores goals… we’ll be under assault… if he continues like this.
”It is normal, in the way football currently is… Like all the players who have arrived at Lille in this project, the idea is to continue to help them to improve, for them to help the club and the team to improve in turn.”
Osimhen joined Lille from Sporting Charleroi in August 2019 for a fee in the region of twelve million euros.
