Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has admitted he misses football but insisted that the LFP took the best decision in ending the league season due to the pandemic.
Osimhen revealed in an Instagram interview session that he’s envious of his Bundesliga counterparts who just returned to the business after the German Government permitted the league to restart.
Osimhen’s compatriots, Taiwo Awoniyi, Anthony Ujah, Jamilu Collins, and Kingsley Ehizibue were all in action for their respective clubs over the weekend.
“I think the championship will resume in September or August, but I don’t know exactly.
“For the rest, the end of the season has been canceled, everyone is at home, and it’s really crazy.
“I’m really jealous of the Bundesliga players who have taken over. But I think it was the best decision in France and staying safe.” He said.
Osimhen enjoyed an impressive debut season with Lille, he scored 18 goals in all competitions and helped to club to qualify for next season’s Europa League.
