Victor Osimhen has been declared fit and ready to return to action by Napoli head coach Luciano Spalletti.
Osimhen hasn’t played since his injury against Liverpool at the Diego Maradona Stadium on September 8.
The Nigeria international has missed the last six games across all competitions for the Partenopei.
Spalletti has now confirmed that the striker and is in good shape ahead of the Champions League clash with Ajax.
“ Victor is a strength of our team because he is a top player. He is working well and is ready to give his contribution,”Spalletti told a press conference on Tuesday.
”For us Osimhen has to become another leader of this team. We are lucky because we have three forward with different characteristics that together make up the totality of the qualities that complete the department.”
The 23 year-old is expected to be involved in Napoli’s Champions League game against Dutch champions, Ajax Amsterdam on Wednesday.
