Osimhen in high spirits Ahead of new Serie A season

Victor Osimhen played a part in Napoli’s pre-season victory over Spanish side Girona on Wednesday.

The strike however failed to find the back of the net, but Napoli dug deep to win the encounter 3-1 at the Stade Teofilo Patin.

Despite firing blank Osimhen was delighted to get some minutes under his belt.

Napoli carried the lead into the half time break, however the visitors restored the parity nine minutes into the second half.

The move proved to be the right one as Petagna restored Napoli’s lead, four minutes later.

Napoli sealed the victory with the third goal scored by Kvara in the 80th minute. He beat the Goalkeeper with a shot from 11 yards out.

Napoli will face Espanyol in their next pre-season game.
