Victor Osimhen registered an assist in Lille’s Ligue Un match on Sunday as Les Dogues drew 1-1 away to Rennes.
Osimhen and the Lille attack created six goalscoring chances, but their dominance yielded little in the first half as the hosts held a tight backline.
It wasn’t until the restart that a break through will come and the Nigeria international had a hand in it.
Jonathan Ikone scored to break the deadlock and it came from Osimhen’s high pressing, winning the ball of a defender before picking out the Midfielder at the far end.

Unfortunately, the visitors couldn’t hold their lead and were punished in the 68th minute from a free-kick.
Despite the outcome, Osimhen was rated the best player on the pitch, scoring a 7.9 whoscored.com rating.
Sunday’s result means Lille will remain outside the European competition qualifying zone and a point behind Rennes, who are in fourth spot in the table.
