Osimhen happy with performance against Genoa despite lack of goals

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is delighted to make his first league start for SSC Napoli on Saturday.

Osimhen was included in the starting line up as Napoli thrashed Genoa 6 – 0 at the San Paolo stadium to make it two wins in two games in the 2020-2021 Serie A campaign.

The 21-year-old striker is still searching for his first league go for the club, but he provided the assist for Napoli’s second goal scored by Piotr Zielinski.

Despite failing to get on the score sheet, Osimhen took to his social media handle to hailed the team performance.

“Good win and a solid performance from the whole squad💪🏽get well soon @lorinsigneofficial, 🙏🏽” he wrote on Twitter.

Osimhen had now gone without scoring in his two league games for Napoli.
