Victor Osimhen was on target once again as Galatasaray recorded a comfortable 3–0 away victory over Rizespor to maintain their strong grip on the Turkish Super Lig title race.
Baris Alper Yilmaz opened the scoring in the 19th minute, rising highest to meet Noa Lang’s pinpoint cross with a powerful header.
Galatasaray doubled their lead in the 62nd minute, with Baris Alper Yilmaz at the center of the move once again.
The winger turned provider this time, delivering a dangerous cross that found Yunus Akgun in space, and the Turkey international calmly guided his header into the back of the net.
Four minutes later, Victor Osimhen wrapped up the victory for the visitors.
The Nigerian striker showed his quality by dribbling past two defenders before finishing from a tight angle to score his ninth Super Lig goal of the season.
Osimhen also impressed with his overall performance, completing 17 passes, creating three chances, delivering 100 percent accurate long balls, making three ball recoveries, and winning two duels during the match.
The goal took Osimhen’s tally to 15 goals in all competitions for Galatasaray this season and 52 goals overall for the club.
He has now surpassed Bafétimbi Gomis to become Galatasaray’s fourth-highest-scoring foreign player of all time. Only Mauro Icardi (73), Gheorghe Hagi (72), and Milan Baros (61) have scored more among foreign players.

After the match, Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk praised the performances of his attacking players, saying:
“Noa Lang is one of our players who wants to play, who enjoys the game he plays, who takes pleasure in the game we play. Both Turkey and Galatasaray are very valuable to him. He’s trying to give his very best. Barış, Yunus, and Osimhen are the same way.
