Nigerian winger, Yira Sor believes Victor Osimhen is one the same level with Man City forward Erling Haaland.

Sor, in an interview with Italian Journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio said the Napoli forward is a world class talent.

“Osimhen is not only one of the best players we have in Nigeria at the moment, but also in Africa,” the KRC Genk forward was quoted by Di Marzio.

“He has just been named the best African player and won the CAF Ballon d’Or. For me, Osimhen and Erling Haaland are already at the same level. Maybe he is a little step below, but he has everything to take him above that,” Sor continues.

“Last year he scored a lot of goals in the Napoli shirt, with which he proved that he is a top striker.”

On the extension of his contract with Napoli and his future choices, Sor said:​

“Victor has been with Napoli for years, but the future is his personal decision. Napoli is also a great team that has shown good things in the Champions League. And then many great champions have passed Napoli.”

Victor Osimhen, 25, has seven goals across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.
