The summer transfer saga involving Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku appears to be nearing a resolution, according to recent reports from England.

The Athletic has just released an article indicating significant developments.

Romelu Lukaku is reportedly on the verge of a permanent move to Napoli, while Victor Osimhen is eyeing a dream transfer to the Premier League.

The proposed deal includes Lukaku’s permanent transfer to the Italian side, whereas Osimhen would join a Premier League club on a loan with an option to buy.

According to English journalist Ben Jacobs, Napoli would only consider this arrangement if the option to buy becomes mandatory, contingent on the Premier League club qualifying for the Champions League.

This condition aims to secure a substantial fee for Osimhen, albeit deferred until next summer.

Sky journalist Gianluca Di Marzio adds that Napoli is negotiating for a deal valued at €70 million plus Lukaku, who is valued at €30 million.

Both transfers must be permanent or structured as significant loans, with Napoli rejecting any scenario where Lukaku joins permanently and Osimhen moves on a mere loan.

Napoli is firm on its stance: Osimhen will only leave under terms that meet the club’s technical, ambitious, and financial expectations.
