Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala enjoyed a good outing with Barcelona, in the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Wednesday.
Fresh from receiving her Pichichi trophy for finishing as top scorer last season, Oshoala netted a brace to guide Barcelona to 6-0 win over Swedish side, FC Rosengard at Camp Nou.
The forward finished off a rebound in the 10th minute after Aitana Bonmatí’s shot crashed against the crossbar.
She then made it 2-0 with a perfect header five minutes after her first goal.
She’s now two goals away from matching her tally of 4 from 9 games last season in the competition and it was her 6th goal in all competitions this season.
Oshoala was substituted with nine minutes left on the clock, and was replaced by 2022 U17 World Cup winner of Nigerian descent Vicky Lopez.
