Barcelona Femino reveals that striker Asisat Oshoala has left the club’s training camp to returned to Nigeria, few days after them win maiden UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The club confirmed the development through their social media handle on Tuesday evening.

The club said Oshoala was permitted leave for Nigeria due to personal reasons and its unclear when she will return.

The 26 year old who recovered from knee injury to play in last Sunday’s Champions League final has netted 22 goals for the Catalan giants in all competitions.

The four time African Women’s Footballer of the year award winner  also helped her team clinched this season’s Spanish Iberdrola crown without a single defeat.
