Enyimba FC boss Fatai Osho has rued his team’s missed chances in front of goal after Sunday’s 2-0 Oriental derby defeat to Enugu Rangers at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba.
Osho speaking in a chat with www.brila.net after the encounter expressed satisfaction with the gameplay exhibited by his side but for profligacy in the final third which eventually cost the team at the end of the day. He added that the officiating was okay and was unfortunate to have lost the game to goals from penalties conceded.
“The match against Rangers is a keenly contested one, a derby of that magnitude we did very well and we can’t take that away from the players. We could have gotten a far better result based on the performance of the players but our greatest undoing we lost a lot of created chances. The officiating was okay but we could have done better.”
