Former Super Eagles forward Osaze Odemwingie has advised the team’s coaching crew to play top friendlies without looking at the teams in Group B with Nigeria in preparing for the nations cup in Egypt.
Osaze made his opinion known in an interview with brila.net that the team should play Grade A friendlies even though the other teams in their group are not as strong as them.
“It’s good to pick strong opponents for the friendlies even if you have weaker opponents in your group, it will strengthen you and give you a better preparation before the competition kick starts”.
Osaze made his debut at the Nation’s cup while representing Nigeria in Tunisia 2004 and Egypt 2006 where the super eagles finished third in both competitions.
