Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel has resumed training with Fenerbahce despite rumors of a transfer from the club.
After contributing to the Turkish Super Lig club’s respectable finish last season, several clubs, particularly in England, have expressed interest in his services, including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace, and Leeds United.
Fenerbahce finished second in the Turkish league last season, narrowly missing the title by just 3 points to Galatasaray.
The defender rejoined his teammates training on Friday morning under the newly appointed manager, Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese was appointed at the end of last season to lead the team in the upcoming UEFA Champions League after they parted ways with Ismail Kartal.
Meanwhile, the Yellow-Navy Blues will begin their season next month with a UEFA Champions League qualification game against Swiss giants, Lugano.
