Warri Wolves head coach Ortega Deniran, is satisfied with his side thrilling draw against Adamawa United on Sunday.
Deniran was leading the Seasiders out in a league game for the first time after replacing former manager Ogenyi Evans in the dugout.
Warri Wolves were pegged back on three different occasions as they played a 3-3 with Adamawa United in Gombe.
Stanley Otu poked home a Stephen Eregare cross-in-side the opening two minutes to put the Seasiders in the lead, only for Anayo Ogbonna level the game for the Yola side.
Warri Wolves went back into the lead again, when Williams Sunday profited from a defensive error inside the box and scored, against as United hit back through Anayo Ogbonna.
The visitors went in front for the third time four minutes after the resumption of the second half, Efe Yarhere arrived the box, before Idris Abubakar’s long-range drive from outside the box beat Warri Wolves goalkeeper John Lawrence, to tie the match at 3 – 3.
Speaking after the game, the chief executive officer of the club, Ortega Dediran was full of praises the team.
“It was a good game,” he says.
“The boys gave it they’re all. But there’s a need for more work in the next game against Lobi.”
Warri Wolves will next play Lobi Stars of Makurdi on Wednesday, May 26 on Matchday 23.
