Esther Onyenezide won the woman of the match award for the second time, at the ongoing FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup on Thursday.
The midfielder picked up the award after inspiring the Falconets to a 3-1 win over Canada on Thursday.
Onyenezide scored two first half penalties against Canada as Nigeria maintained a hundred percent record in the Group phase.
The FC Robo’s midfielder won her first Player of the match award in last Sunday’s game against Korea Republic for her match-winning performance in the game.
The in=form star is currently the second player with the most goals at the tournament, with three.
She’ll be aiming to add to her goals tally and campaign for the tournament’s MVP award as Nigeria continues to the quarter-final, where they’ll face the Netherlands on Sunday.
