Boavista’s full-back, Bruno Onyemaechi is hoping to catch the eye of Chelsea owner Todd Boehly after scoring his first goal of the season in a 2-2 draw against Estrela Amadora on Monday.
Onyemaechi gave Boavista an early lead with a goal in the 24th minute at the Estádio José Gomes.
In addition to his goal, the Nigerian international recorded four successful tackles and completed 23 passes before being substituted in the 83rd minute.
Following the match, the 25-year-old took to social media, humorously requesting fans to tag Todd Boehly.
“Scored my first goal of the season today, make una help me tag Todd Boehly abeg I wan see something.”
This season, Onyemaechi has made five league appearances for Boavista and was also part of Nigeria’s squad for recent international matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
