Super Eagles and Galatasary of Turkey striker, Henry Chukwuemeka Onyekuru has revealed that he would love to play in the EPL but cannot due to work permit issues which is why he is at Galatasary.
Onyekuru had a good last season with the club in Turkey, helping them lift the league title last season, while only coming on as a substitute in the semi-final against Algeria, the only match he got to play for the Eagles at the just concluded AFCON in Egypt.
Speaking with brila.net, Onyekuru also spoke of his desire to win trophies both for the national team as well as club side so as to remember after football as a great player who achieved huge success.
“It has been my goal and my dream to play in the EPL, but at the moment, I do not have a working permit, which was why I had to go to Galatasary to get more exposure, play in the UEFA Champions League as well as also play some Europa League games as well”.
“I just want to win trophies, both for my club as well as my country, I want to stand in a place and see myself after football and my name would be remembered for good and greatness”.
