AS Monaco and Super Eagles forward Henry Onyekuru has pulled out of Nigeria’s friendly game against Ukraine next week Tuesday.
Onyekuru sights resident permit challenge as the reason for skipping the friendly match billed for Dnipro in Ukraine.
The winger is yet to settle in France following his move to Monaco from Everton in Summer’s transfer window and he’s looking to use this period to sort things out.
Onyekuru has now joined Wilfred Ndidi and Kenneth Omeruo who has pulled out of the game as a result of injury and work permit demands respectively.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has invited other four players to the sqaud as replacement for the ones who pulled out.
The player are Anderson Esiti, Bryan Idowu, Josh Maja and Emmanuel Dennis and part of the players will fly out from Abuja Friday to Ukraine, while others are expected to fly to Kyiv from their respective base.
