Dimata Landry, KV Oostende striker emerged as the surprise winner of the prestigious Belgium Young Player of the Year Award award ahead of Onyekuru and Tielemans.
He polled 815 points beating Youri Tielemans who recorded 669 points while Nigerian international Henry Onyekuru tallied 450 points coming third in the awards.
The striker who joined KVO for a bargain 500,000 Euros and was quick to play week in week out ahead of experienced players like Joseph Akpala this season.
Meanwhile, Anderlecht star midfielder Youri Tielemans, was voted the Belgium Player of the Year.
