Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru scored his first goal for his new club Olympiacos in their UEFA Europa League game with Slovan Bratislava on Thursday.
The Nigerian international scored his team’s second goal in the 2-2 draw at the National Football Stadium.
Youssef El Arabi put Olympiacos in front three minutes after the half-hour mark, thanks to an assist from French star Mathieu Valbuena.
The hosts later drew level three minutes before the halftime break when Ezekiel Henty finished a perfect pass from Jaromir Zmrha.
Onyekuru restored his side’s lead in the 54th minute, courtesy of another assist from Mathieu Valbuena.
The lead however lasted for 10 minutes as Vasil Bozhikov set up Andre Green to make it 2 – 2.
Both sides failed to find the winner, but Olympiacos advance to the Group stage of the competition on aggregate.
