Following his impressive start to life in the Turkish top flight, Paul Onuachu is reportedly attracting interests from top sides in the Super Lig.
Reports in Turkey suggest that Besiktas has reached out to Southampton, Onuachu’s parent club, with the intention of securing a transfer in January, and the player’s representatives are already informed.
In the report, Besiktas made contact with the Nigerian’s manager through Patrick Mörk, a Swedish manager known for facilitating the club’s signings of Scandinavian players.
Currently, Onuachu is on a season-long loan at Trabzonspor, which includes an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
So far, Trabzonspor have been satisfied with Onuachu’s performance and could be keen to make the deal permanently from Southampton.
The 28-year-old striker has netted four goals in seven appearances for Trabzonspor since his arrival.
However, Trabzonspor face strong competition from Besiktas, making the situation more complex.
