Paul Onuachu proved his Trabzonspor’s debut was not a fluck as he netted yet another for the club at Hatayspor in Monday’s Turkish Super Lig encounter.
The forward who joined Trabzonspor from Southampton on transfer deadline day announced his arrival in Turkish football with a goal against Besiktas last week.
The lanky forward then followed it up with another striker against Hatayspor in the 62nd minute.
Before then, Onuachu also provided the assist for Trabzonspor’s opener of the game, scored by Edin Visca for Trabzonspor in the 44th minute.
Onuachu who failed to record a goal contribution in 16 games for Southampton has now done so three time for Trabzonspor in two matches.
The forward and his teammates however allowed the game to slip away from them as the hosts rallied back to snatch the three in dramatic fashion.
Following the defeat, Trabzonspor, remains fifth on the league table with nine points after five round of matches.
Onuachu and his colleagues will aim to bounce back when they host Pendikspor this Saturday.
