Paul Onuachu bagged another goal for his club KRC Genk in their emphatic 3-0 home victory over Club Brugge at the Luminus Arena on Friday night.
After a goalless first half, Onuachu finally broke the deadlock in the 57th minute after he connected with a pass from Bryan Heynen.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles forward has now scored 31 goals in 35 league appearances for Genk.
The former FC Midtjylland hitman now has the most goals (31) in a single season of the Belgian Pro League since John Weber in 1993/94.
Onuachu later picked up a yellow card in 68 minutes and was subsequently substituted for Cyriel Dessers in order to avoid him picking up a red card.
Junya Ito doubled the lead in the 72nd minute, before Kristian Thorstvedt wrapped up the perfect night for the John van den Brom’s side with the final goal.
