Onuachu, Maja staying Sharp… both Score in Mid-season Friendlies

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu was on target as KRC Genk beat Elche in a club friendly.

Onuachu netted a brace to guide Genk to a 3-2 win over the La Liga side on Saturday.

With Elche leading 2-1, the Nigerian converted a spot kick to make it 2-2 in the 74th minute.

He won the game for his team with a nice rebound with two minutes left on the clock.

Elsewhere, Josh Maja led Ligue 2 side Bordeaux to victory against Premier League Brentford.

The striker converted a penalty as the Ligue 2 side beat the Bees 2-1 in a mid-season friendly.
