Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu scored twice to guide Genk to 4-0 win over Seraing on Sunday.

The Nigerian scored in both halves, to increase his tally to 16 league goals for the Wouter Vrancken’s side.

 

 

Onuachu, who failed to score in the two previous games, gave his side the lead inside opening five minutes when he converted a penalty.

Before the break, Onuachu missed a big chance, but made amend almost immediately after the restart, he tapped in after a cross from John Paintsil was deflected on the crossbar.

Paintsil rounded off the win for Genk after a perfect combination with Mike Tresor who was also on score sheet.

With the easy victory against the last team on the table, Genk now lead second place Union Saint-Gilloise with 6 points.

And if they win the make-up game against Eupen next Wednesday, the points will be back to 9.
