Paul Onuachu finally got on mark this season as he netted a goal in Genk’s 2-1 win over Oostende on Saturday.
Onuachu has not been at his best this season, no thanks to another transfer window disappointment and injury.
He fired blank in his previous six games, and also picked more booking (two)than any Genk’s forward in the process.
Handed his first game of the season for Limburgers by coach Wouter Vrancken, the Nigeria was able to make it count.
In the 18th minute he scored, to cancel out Fraser David Hornby’s earlier opener for Oostende.
The Striker played the entire minutes of the game, but Daniel Munoz who became the hero for Genk with his 88th minute winner.
Victory ensure that the Limburgers stays in second position on the league table.
