Nigeria and Trabzonspor midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has expressed his excitement over the newly unveiled Super Eagles kits ahead of Russia 2018.

The Super Eagles midfielder, Onazi who has just recovered from a knee knock that saw him miss Trabzonspor’s 0-0 draw away at Genclerbirligi on Saturday described the kits as nice.

Onazi has not featured for Trabzonspor in their last three games in the Turkish Super Lig but was on the bench against Fenerbahce and Goztepe before being granted a special leave prior to the Genclerbirligi draw.

The 25-year-old also took time out to laud the new Super Eagles strips for the 2018 FIFA World Cup which was launched in London last week.

“I had a slight knock on my knee but I will resume training this week with the team,” Onazi told CSN.

“I need to be fully fit before returning. They are nice (kit).”

The former Lazio man has made 13 league appearances for Trabzonspor so far this term and will be hoping to avoid injuries ahead of the global showpiece in June.
