Nigerian Players in England are returning to their respective clubs for pre-season and though some may require to sort out their futures, it was all smiles when Kenneth Omeruo and Kelechi Iheanacho reported to the Cobhams Training Center and the Etihad Campus respectively.
Omeruo has never featured for Chelsea in a competitive match since joining them in 2012 from Standard Liège.
The 23-year-old hopes to convince Manager, Antonio Conte – like Victor Moses did last season – but with the Club’s weight in the Center back position, he may very well be on the cards for another loan deal.

Omeruo posted pictures of Monday’s session with the rest of the squad on Instagram as well as one with former Middlesbrough buddy, Jamal Blackman.
In another part of the Isle, 20-year Striker Kelechi Iheanacho reported for pre-season amid reports Man City have agreed a deal in principle with Leicester City for a £25million deal and with the option of a buy-back.
Iheanacho was promoted to the City first team from the EDS in the 2015/16 and has scored 12 goals in 46 league appearances.
