Super Eagles and Kasimpasa defender Kenneth Omeruo has expressed his joy at resuming training following a long spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Omeruo suffered an injury last October during Kasimpasa’s thrilling 3-3 draw against Galatasaray, where he featured for 60 minutes before being forced off.
The Nigeria international has been out of action ever since.
The centre-back took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share his excitement about returning to fitness.
“It’s been a difficult few months. Glad to be running again.. can’t wait to start helping my team again.. I have missed it.. #unclek #offthepitch,” Omeruo wrote.
Prior to his injury, the former Leganés defender had made five league appearances for Kasimpasa this season.
His return is expected to provide a significant boost to the team, who are currently 9th in the league standings, as they look to climb higher in the table.
Omeruo’s recovery marks a positive step forward, and both fans and teammates will be eager to see him back in competitive action soon.
