Veteran Nigeria table tennis player Segun Toriola has revealed that qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic games is his biggest motivation ahead of participation at the All Africa games which starts today in Morocco.
Toriola speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net said also that he plans to end his national team career with Nigeria at the 2020 Olympic games which will be a record appearance his 8th at the Olympic games.
He, however, said he will still be around to support developing players and offer his services as a coach in the national team by then.
“It might be my last and it might not be my last, right now I want to qualify for the Olympics to the eight Olympic for me.
After the Olympics, I will retire from the national team but it is my last African cup. But I will still play for fun and be around to support developing players and offer my services as a coach to the national team.”
