Olympic Games: Don’t Delay Camping for Super Falcons – Abdullahi

Former Super Falcons assistant coach, Mansur Abdullahi, has urged the Ministry of Sports to prioritize the Super Falcons’ preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris.

In a recent interview with Brila.net, Abdullahi emphasized that it is the ministry’s responsibility, not the NFF, to ensure the team’s readiness for the Olympics.

“He who doesn’t plan well is planning to fail. The Minister of Youth and Sports, John Enoh, should understand the importance of getting this team into camp. It’s the ministry’s sole responsibility,” Abdullahi stated.

He noted that Nigeria should be actively preparing, having just qualified for the Olympics for the first time in sixteen years.

“It’s quite sad at this moment that the team is not yet in camp,” he added.

Abdullahi mentioned a recent meeting between the Ministry and the NFF, which included key officials like the President of the Federation, the General Secretary, and the Technical Director.

He hopes that the team would resume camp soon to ensure success at the Olympics.
