Former Nigeria captain, Sunday Oliseh is confident Victor Boniface will become important player for the Super Eagles in the next few years.

Boniface played a key role in Bayer Leverkusen’s first ever Bundesliga title triumph, grabbing 27 goals involvement for Leverkusen this season.

The forward scored one of the goals as Leverkusen thumped Werder Bremen 5-0 on Sunday.

Oliseh, a Bundesliga winner himself with Borussia Dortmund praised the 23 year-old’s quality.

“Victor Boniface was once again extraordinary as Leverkusen grabbed its first ever Bundesliga title with 5 games left to play,” the former Midfielder wrote on X.

“Boniface is strong, skillful, intelligent, mobile, calm under pressure and I am convinced he will lead Nigeria to AFCON glory & more soon. Congrats.”

The Forward has 18 goals and 9 assists in 27 matches for the newly crowned German this season.
