Former Super Eagles head coach and ex-international, Sunday Oliseh, has hailed the contribution of Alex Iwobi in the survival quest of Everton, particularly his performance in the 2-1 win over Leicester City.
Everton swan out of the relegation waters yesterday with the win over the Foxes and Iwobi played a crucial role.
Oliseh, who handed Iwobi his national team debut in a friendly game against DR Congo in 2015, took to his Twitter handle to hail the player.

“Extremely impressed by Alex Iwobi’s performance Vs Leicester Today. Simple, clairvoyant, hard-working, tracking back, changing play, and dictating the tempo, especially at a time when his club’s survival in the league is on the line. Kudos Lil Bro!!” Oliseh wrote.
The Nigeria international has now turned into a utility player as he made his eighth consecutive start in the league and was played as a right wing-back for the second straight game.
Iwobi notched an assist for Everton’s first goal which saw Ukrainian defender Vitaliy Mykolenko, take the lead just four minutes into the game.
