Veteran defender Efe Ambrose has joined North West Countries League side Bury FC, signing a one-year contract with the Shakers.
Ambrose, 35, brings a wealth of experience, having spent the previous season with Scottish club Queen of the South.
Bury FC manager Dave McNabb expressed his excitement over the acquisition, highlighting the defender’s exceptional track record and the positive impact he is expected to have on the team.
“A ball-playing centre half with an unbelievable pedigree and huge experience with over 50 international caps and over 400 professional appearances,” McNabb stated on the club’s official website.
“Efe is a great character and will certainly help some of the younger players in the squad. It’s a brilliant signing for the club and one I hope will excite the fans.”
