Nigerian forward Peter Olayinka was in action for his Czech Republic side Slavia Prague in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions league game with Borrusia Dortmund.
Olayinka along with his teammates travelled to the Signal Iduna Park in Germany with the hope of getting a win to end the campaign on high, but it wasn’t meant to be as they departed Germany empty handed.
English youngster Jadon Sancho put the home side ahead with just ten minutes in the clash.
With half time break approaching Slavia Prague find themselves level, thanks to ferocious strike from Tomas Soucek in the 42nd minutes.
Borrusia Dortmund would grab the winner a minute after an hour mark through Julian Brandt.
Olayinka was on for 90 minutes and scored once in six Champions league games for Slavia Prague who finished bottom of the group.
